JB
JB had called in a few favors when Charley got the call that her father was being released from the hospital. He was due to be flown to Gatlinburg in two days when Ryderâs schedule freed up. Until then, Dean was hauled up with Savage and Bowieâs family, out at their big farmhouse. He was safe and that had him and Charley breathing a bit easier.
He had taken her into town earlier that morning and the doctor told her that she could take over-the-counter pain meds to help manage her discomfort and she seemed pleased by that. There was the promise that heâd finally give her what she wantedâwhat they both wanted. Charley was going to be his in every way and if he had any say about it, that would happen tonight.
They picked up a few groceries on their way back to the cabin and all he could think about was making a nice dinner for Charley and then carrying her up to the bedroom that they had been sharing and stripping her bare to sink into her body. It was all he wanted for days now and tonight would finally be his night. Charley offered to help with dinner, but he told her that she was going to do nothing but soak in a tub while he pampered her.
He got Charley settled in the tub and even shampooed her hair for her, rinsing all the soap out of it before heading down to the kitchen to make their special dinner. He wanted to strip and slip into the tub with her, but that wasnât what tonight was about. Tonight, was about taking care of Charley because, in two days, he planned on telling her father that they were together and asking him for his blessing. One thing heâd learned from his sister and Chainsâ relationship was that secrets werenât something that either he or Charley needed. He respected Dean too much to lie to him and keeping a secret felt like one giant lie. He and Charley had discussed telling her father and she agreed that she didnât want that lie hanging over their heads. She told him that if they were going to do this, she wanted to be able to be honest with her father. Plus, with Dean living in the cabin with them until the fight, heâd be able to figure it out sooner or later. Dean was a smart guy, and he didnât miss much. JB was sure that his manager and good friend would be able to tell that he was falling in love with his daughter. He just hoped that heâd be able to tell Charley that before her father figured it out for himself. That kind of declaration should come from him, and he planned on telling her how he felt tonight.
JB had no idea how it happened. A part of him still wondered if it was possible to fall for someone after only knowing them for a little over a week, but that was how he felt about Charley.
